Miami's First Museum Happy Hour

Museum Hack Hacky Hour

Museum Hack is hosting the first Hacky Hour in Miami, a museum professionals' networking event.

Museum Hack’s Hacky Hour is a unique opportunity for museum professionals to relax, network with industry professionals and learn some of Museum Hack’s trade secrets. It’s a festive event hosted by Museum Hack’s most knowledgeable personnel. Mark Kennedy & Bex Odorisio will orchestrate games and activities related to museums, art and science. The winners receive exclusive prizes, so bring your A game! Once the games have concluded, networking begins. Hacky Hour is a rare opportunity to discuss the needs of your institution and discover how you can increase audience engagement and visitor satisfaction. A limited number of reservations are still available for the Miami Hacky Hour, Friday, May 20th at 5pm. RSVPs are available on a first-come, first-serve basis here.

Hacky Hours are our way of meeting people. We like to practice what we preach, which means whenever we get together with people, we like to make it fun, help people connect, play games that actually do real work of sharing ideas and breaking down barriers. Especially for museum professionals, everyone is up to so many fascinating things, we like to set up some simple ways to get people to talk about it, and then enjoy the results!” – Mark Kennedy, VIP Sales Manager

Hacky Hour is the combination of a meet and greet, trivia night and museum industry seminar, with Mojitos! Museum Hack’s Hacky Hours provide museum staff and cultural institutions the opportunity to foster team building, develop new connections and hone their skills. This Hacky Hour will be held at The Cafe at Books & Books in Coral Gables, a serene atmosphere directed by world renowned chef, Allen Susser. It’s a delightful venue that uses organic produce to create artisanal entrees that will excite any palate.  Museum professionals are encouraged to dress in Miami-esque cocktail party attire.
