Museum Hack Provides Exclusive Training for Museum Professionals

After numerous requests, Museum Hack expands their development boot camp

Many museums are struggling to provide fun and engaging tours consistently. It can be easy to sell tickets when you have a collection that transcends time and culture, but how can your museum connect with visitors and ensure they are raving about their visit long after it’s over? Museum Hack prides itself on developing tours that are innovative, immersive and interactive regardless of your current collection. By all accounts, they are doing a great job of it; Museum Hack currently provide tours in three major cities, at four different museums while maintaining an aggregate rating of 4.8 stars (out of five) from 2,168 reviews on TripAdvisor, Yelp and Zerve.

After their successful museum staff training program launched in February of 2016, Museum Hack provided additional dates in June & November. June reservations were sold out immediately, and upon request, Museum Hack added a new Boot Camp weekend in July 2016. The Boot Camp is a three day program that runs from Friday at Noon through Sunday at 6 pm. Registration is limited to twelve participants per workshop.  Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis here.

Boot Camp is a completely interactive experience, where participants train side-by-side with our Hackers-in-Training. We focus on personalized attention and team bonding in a way that showcases our various methods of audience engagement while helping professionals develop new professional relationships and skills that they can immediately put to use upon returning home.

Museum Hack’s Boot Camp provides museum staff around the country the opportunity to learn Museum Hack’s secrets for audience engagement and visitor satisfaction. Your personnel will be led by seasoned Museum Hack tour guides, including Ethan Angelica (Director of VIP Partnerships) and Dustin Growick (Audience Development Outreach Manager). Their experienced tour guides know first-hand the challenges that museums must overcome to keep a group entertained. Your staff will learn side-by-side new Museum Hack tour guides in two of New York’s finest museums, the American Museum of Natural History & the Metropolitan Museum of Art. After you discover what it takes to develop an amusing and knowledgeable tour, you will present your own Museum Hack  tour to the public!
